Had his first drawing lessons with Constantinos Maleas

 

1924

 

Enrolled at the School of Law, National University of Athens

 

Studied Drama at the National Theatre of Greece 

 

Studied Music at the National Conservatory of Athens

 

1924-1930

 

Travelled to Europe for health reasons

 

Remained abroad after his recovery to study the art exhibited in the various European Museums

 

1934

 

Attended drawing and painting lessons

 

Close friendship with the artists Yiannis Tsarouchis, Diamantis Diamantopoulos, Fotis Kontoglou and architect Dimitris Pikionis

 

1936

 

Devotes himself exclusively to art

 

1938-1939

 

Studied painting with Pericles Vyzantios

 

Set up his first sculpture studio

 

1945

 

Arrested and imprisoned at the ‘Dekemriana’ clashes in Athens and exiled to Africa for a six-month period

Studied sculpture with Thanassis Apartis
